Gamblers v. Grenades

Chris Hand and the “Grinnin’ Deer” had plenty to smile about after hangin’ a 49 spot on his division rivals the Cheetahs, but won’t have much time to rest on their laurels with Kenny Breal and his “Vice Lords” pullin’ into T-Town for a friendly Sunday afternoon game of cards. Unfortunately for Chris, these Gamblers like to deal from the bottom of the deck.

Armadillos v. Cheetahs

Kurt Prewitt and the “Army of Dildos” arrive in Riverchase this weekend to pay Butch Neal a visit at the local “Cat House” and will find a target rich environment with which to put their “instrument” of choice to good use.

Freebirds v. Blitz

The Nazi’s famed Blitzkrieg went through Europe like “dose of salt through a widow woman” (Wizard’s Note: The phrase harkens back to how constipation in the elderly was treated at one time.) before the Americans and a brutal Russian winter put an end to the Third Reich. Proving it’s not how you start but how you finish. It was just bad luck the Germans weren’t at war with the Freebirds.

Vulcans v. Wildcats

Jerry James and the “Midfield Mildcats” were anything but tame in route to scratchin’ out a 42 spot in week 5 but will find bye weeks beginning to wreak havoc on BDFL rosters. Something the Vulcans don’t have to worry about since they don’t have much of a roster to wreak havoc on.

Bellcows v. Power Sleds

Jack Barnes and the ”Tower of Power” will await David Belrose and his “Buxom Bovines” for their Sunday afternoon matchup on the lower field at Green Springs Park with hopes of rebounding after a dreadful performance in Week 5. But will find when you mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Dogs v. Sloth Monsters

Mike Dismukes and the “Lurch Longtoes” got their nails trimmed in Week 6, but the Great Wizardo forecasts better days ahead. Something Mark Burr and the defending BDFL champions will realize immediately after being shown to their quarters…in the doghouse. Wizard’s Winner…the Sloth Monsters.  

Bullets v. Mayors

When asked to describe the difference between a lead singer and a terrorist, the Great Wizardo quickly replied, “You can negotiate with a terrorist.”

Bandits v. Juggernauts

Barry Stephenson’s vintage 1978 black and gold TransAm was last seen leaving the scene of a hit & run after trampling the Sloth Monsters last week. And with Allyson Edwards’ “JuggerNots” standing in their way, the Wizard says the Bandits won’t even tap the brakes when they hit the Jugtown city limits.
