How did the Juggernauts get their name and logo identity

Allyson actually approved the name from a list submitted by the Commissioner, Iron Hand.Then the league developed the logo and team theme.

The Thought Process

The Juggernauts team theme, concept and logo idea came from a combination of the definitions below and Jugtown's heritage. 

Juggernaut n 

1: A massive relentless force that seems to crush everything in its way

2: An overwhelming, advancing force that crushes or seems to crush everything in its path.

Argonaut n     

1: Any of a band of heroes sailing with Jason in quest of the Golden Fleece

2: An adventurer engaged in a quest

Key concepts  

The key words that the "logo lords" focused on included...

> The jug plant in Jugtown

Team colors 

The colors came from the Golden Fleece and the ocean blue. Their uniforms resemble those worn by college football's  UCLA Bruins. The anchor logo symbolizes water travel and is in the shape of two "Js" for the Jugtown Juggernauts.

Juggernauts set sail to navigate their way to a first BDFL title

JUGTOWN - The sails are hoisted and the league's only female led crew is in search of un-chartered territory... a BDFL championship for the friendly folks back home in Jugtown. Look for more bra burnings this season to excite the crowds and give the hometown fans something to rally around like the Rockets in the 70's and 80s.
