The BDFL News

The BDFL's playoffs and bowl formats released

FOXBORO - BDCS and BMS playoff formats have been released and available at www.thebdfl.com for reference now and throughout the championship format. New in 2006 is the BMS which stand for the Big Mullet Series for teams that failed to make the Big Daddy Championship Series (BDCS). All the traditional bowls have been worked into the playoff system, what a novel idea, including a new bowl game called the Big Mullet Bowl to decide the best of the rest from those who did not qualify for the newly expanded BDCS. Stay tuned as the playoff picture unfolds the next two weeks in the wild and crazt BDFL of 2006.

THE BIG STORY

Kawliga and the Tribe rises from the wood pile to burn the Blades

PELHAM - Never under estimate the peace pipe when it comes to negotiating, or when the smoke they are blowing is a smoke screen. The Blades found out as Custer did at Little Big Horn, you don't mess with raging Injuns when their backs are against the wall. The Wooden Warriors took the Weed Whackers to the woodshed for an impressive vict'ry at the newly named Tyler Watts/Lane Bearden Stadium just off Valleydale Road in Pelham. Jackhandles and knives were no match for the flint sharpened tomahawks of Kawliga's Tribe.

Willis McGahee and the Black Creek Wooden Warriors rose from the ashes in Week 12 to scalp the Pelham Blades 41-22 at the new Tyler Watts/Lane Bearden Stadium in Pelham
